Democrats accuse Lewandowski of stonewalling Hill hearing at White House behest

House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerry Nadler, D-N.Y., said he would consider holding President Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski in contempt of Congress after the ex-aide spent the day dodging questions from Democrats at the committee’s first hearing looking into possible impeachment proceedings.

The White House on Monday night invoked executive privilege over any discussions Lewandowski might have had with Trump and other top White House staff that were not already included in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report.
