TFA – Meeting Notice – Thursday January 9, 2020 – Hunter Grills

Image result for Hunter Grills, tnThe West Tennessee Regional Chapter of the Tennessee Firearms Association will hold its November stated meeting on Thursday, January 9th at Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store, 56 Casey Jones Lane, Jackson, TN  38305.

Our Speaker this month will be Hunter Grills.  Hunter is a ninth generation row crop and beef cattle farmer from Dyer County.  He served as the State Chairman for the Tennessee Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers program in 2018 and was an ex-officio member of the State Board of Directors.  In 2016 he was a finalist in a national speaking competition where he was awarded a new Case IH tractor.

Hunter has served on the Tennessee Soybean Promotion Council as Treasurer.  He is currently a member of the American Soybean Association Advocacy Communications Team and the Conservation Champion Team.

He is currently serving as Youth Minister at Lenox Baptist Church where he works with over 20 teenagers.  He has been on numerous international mission trips working with children’s homes and other organizations.  In 2015 he obtained his private pilot’s license and now volunteers his time with the Pilots for Christ Organization.  Hunter has recently been appointed by Governor Bill Lee to the Tennessee Residence Foundation Board.

Our meeting room will be available at 5:30 p.m. for those who wish to share a meal and fellowship. Our program will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m.   Membership is NOT a requirement to attend, all are welcome.
