Michelle Obama as Vice President? One 2020 Democrat is ALL ABOUT IT

Even though we’re only a week away from the Iowa caucuses, there’s still no telling just who will escape The Hawkeye State with momentum and who will be nursing a black eye.

Given the glut of candidates all vying for the Democratic nomination, and the massive undulations within the field itself, it seems to be anyone’s guess who’ll wind up taking the nomination.  In fact, it could very easily take the addition of a Vice Presidential candidate to the ticket to help the liberals make their decision.

Former VP Joe Biden is now getting out ahead of it, insinuating that he’d be willing to entertain the idea of adding another former White House occupant to his ticket.

The former vice president made the promise during a campaign town hall in Iowa, where he was asked by a voter if he would consider appointing Obama to the Supreme Court.

“Yeah, I would, but I don’t think he’d do it,” Biden said in response. “He’d be a great Supreme Court justice.”

When the voters clarified that he had not stipulated which member of the first family he was referring to, Biden asserted he meant the former president, since he had other plans for the former first lady.

“Well, I sure would like Michelle to be the vice president,” Biden said to laughter from the crowd. “They’re both incredibly qualified people. I mean and they’re such decent honorable people.”

Michelle Obama has repeatedly insisted that she wasn’t interested in running in 2020, but, given just how dysfunctional the race has been so far, her presence may be necessary to unify the party.
