What does climate change have to do with economic stimulus? Nothing, right? But as Rahm Emanuel once said, “Never let a crisis go to waste,” so the Democrats are taking this opportunity to hold the stimulus bill hostage unless they get money for their liberal special interests into the bill.

House Majority Whip James Clyburn reportedly said “This is a tremendous opportunity to restructure things to fit our vision.” I think this political ploy will backfire on the Democrats.

Meanwhile, President Trump is concerned that this nation-wide shutdown could become worse for America than the coronavirus. He is hoping Americans can return to work by Easter. But until then, Congress is working on a $2 trillion stimulus bill plus another $4 trillion in loan guarantees to revive the economy.

Question: Where is that money coming from? No one is talking about that, so let me make a suggestion: China owns $1.07 trillion of U.S. debt. Let’s make them cancel what we owe them. After all, they started this mess.
