Jesus is the narrow Way

H/T to Al Garza for this timely article…..

~Jesus is the narrow Way~!

Matthew 6:33. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

We are called to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified. God’s Word gives no wiggle room to preach and teach by emotions, but by His Holy spirit; to preach in Truth. The Bible tells us in James 4:17. So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it,  for him it is sin.

Regardless of emotional appeals and mitigating circumstances, the initial act of entering a sovereign nation illegally, is sin. The issue is not the fairness of a law. The only biblical reason to violate a government’s law is if that law violates God’s Word and America’s Immigration Laws do not. The truth is rampant lawlessness on America’s sovereign borders is rebellion against God therefore must be viewed for what it is, SIN. I was born in a small South Texas border town and I know for a fact that the vast majority of illegal immigrants enter the U.S. illegally to escape poverty and provide a better life for their families. Although these are Nobel motivations, it is against God’s nature to violate a law to achieve a good. The book of Proverbs 29:7 tells us: “Good people care about justice for the poor, but the wicked are not concerned.”  Yes, we are commanded by God to care for the unfortunate, but breaking laws to achieve acts of kindness are clearly not biblical. The truth is wicked and corrupt policies are the driving force behind illicit behavior.

Ephesians 5:11 tells us: “Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness but instead, expose them. America was founded to “Preach the Good News of a coming Messiah”.

How many of the thousands of illegal immigrants are being driven to this nation to hear about Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior? What policies have our so- called representatives enacted to ensure illegal immigrants from all walks of life, have an opportunity to hear the gospel prior to placing their demands upon the American people? On the contrary, they are being tempted to overturn what God has ordained for the common good of all. Satan tried to tempt Jesus to turn stones into bread; Matthew 4:4. But he answered and said, “ It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God”. 4:7. Jesus said unto him, It is written again, “Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God”.

4:10. Then saith Jesus unto him, “Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.”

God ordained this nation to preach the gospel throughout the world. Our representatives were elected to serve the citizens. But instead, wickedness and corruption have promulgated a new America, where illicit behavior and sin rule the masses. Romans 16:18 tells us:” For such persons do not serve our Lord Christ, but their own appetites, and by smooth talk and flattery they deceive the hearts of the naïve”.

1 Timothy 1:8. But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; This is the Word of the Lord, which endureth forever. Thanks be to God, Amen.
