Buttigieg is attempting to make bacon from a sow’s ear

Are you truly a Christian or are you one of those convenient Christians that hides in the pulpit. I suspect the latter for the majority of those that gather on Sunday’s services. Have we lost our way in the wilderness. Secretary Buttigieg has and is not concerned about it. Like so many, he doesn’t believe in God’s retribution. William Lane Craig says, in Paul’s view, God’s properties, his eternal power and deity, are clearly revealed in creation, so that people who fail to believe in an eternal, powerful creator of the world are without excuse. Indeed, Paul says that they actually do know that God exists, but they suppress this truth because of their unrighteousness.

In their desire to use the Roman government to advance their own agenda (crucifying Christ and later His disciples and apostles), the Jewish leaders were quite willing to acknowledge the deity and sovereignty of Caesar–even though doing so was a blatant violation of the First Commandment given by Jehovah to Moses. Is it a little more than interesting that after conducting a secret, illegal trial of Jesus and blaspheming God in declaring Caesar king that they immediately afterward sat down to observe the Passover? No wonder Jesus called them “Hypocrites.” Should I do the same now?

Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is playing a dangerous game by aiming to use the fierce criticism he faced from conservatives over taking paternity leave as a way to have a conservation about the issue, amid efforts from the White House to get paid family leave into a social spending bill pending in Congress.

“The negativity was unfortunate but, in a way, maybe some good comes out of it too because it’s helped us have a conversation about parental leave,” Buttigieg said this week.

Buttigieg took shots for taking paternity leave during the supply chain crisis from Fox News host Tucker Carlson, who criticized his absence from work and he deserved it.

“If a man practices homosexuality, having sex with another man as with a woman, both men have committed a detestable act. They must both be put to death, for they are guilty of a capital offense.” Leviticus 20:13
