OH HAPPY DAY!!! OH HAPPY DAY

I just looked up from the computer key board and out the window to the pond and what should my eyes see???

Two – 2 –   beautiful Egyptian Geese   and four smaller ducks (not sure what kind)

With the pond having been dry for months and finally coming back – partially- I have watched daily hoping for the Egyptian Geese to return.

As the saying goes  –  GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT AND WATCH

What a wonderful surprise and one I shall enjoy beyond words.

Oh  and Miss Ebony is growing like a weed –  lives totally outdoors (sleeps in amongst the haybales by the chicken pen) and is meowing at my back door if I haven’t fed her by 7:30 am.  She still thinks she is part of the chicken flock but it appears she is beginning to hunt for birds and mice now too.

Will be interesting to see the Geese and Miss Ebony interact.

Now you know why I don’t go to the movies –  I can sit right here and watch the most awesome shows on earth by God’s creations.  The cattle, the chickens, the cats, the birds (including those buzzards and crows) – the skunks – etc.
I have not mentioned this blue bird that comes several times a day to the window here in the office and sits on the ledge just as if he is trying to figure out what I am doing in here.  Cocks his head from one side to another.  And, YES, I do talk to him as I do to all the other critters around here.  He sits for a few minutes then flies off to do his *honey do* list the Mrs gave him when he left the nest.

How can anyone ever be bored in life when there is SO MUCH to see – to marvel at – to enjoy?

BTW –   my prior post about *caressing* your houseplants and increasing their growth has been paying off BIG TIME.  I can’t believe how MUCH new growth has taken place with ALL my house plants since I began doing that.  I am talking about INCHES in height and lots of new starts as well as healthy color.
