Official State Pet…. Wait a Minute

I brought up this bill a few weeks ago. It’s ready to go to the House floor for a vote unless something happens to derail it. It’s already passed the Senate.

If you live in the Knoxville area, I suggest you focus your attention on calling Rep. Dunn’s office and telling him you oppose the bill. He’s the sponsor and he can withdraw the bill. Otherwise, please call your representative and tell him or her that you oppose the bill. This is especially important if you own or breed purebred cats and dogs.

You can find contact information for your state representative here: <>

No doubt this bill is well-intentioned, but it furthers an animal rights agenda and it’s potentially harmful to people who own and breed purebred animals.
