A Sign of Bad Man

Erick-Woods Erickson

It was bad enough that Joe Biden refused to make his son man up and take responsibility for his daughter. Instead, the President humored his son and refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of his own granddaughter until Maureen Dowd called him out on the pages of the New York Times. Do not think that piece had nothing to do with it.

Biden would have gone on far longer ignoring his granddaughter had the American press corps continued to cover for him.

Even now, he keeps making excuses for his son. Only Philip Bump of the Washington Post could be so incredulous to think that a man who keeps covering for and excusing his son would not help his son use any possible connection to make money. Of course Biden would do that. And it appears he not only did but benefited from the relationships.

But the really galling part is the damn dog.

This is the second of the Biden family dogs to bite those who work for and care for the Biden family. The current dog has bitten Secret Service agents repeatedly and now, apparently, White House staff.

These professional staff at the White House take care of the building and the first family. It is, frankly, beneath the dignity of the presidency to have a President let his dog bite the people whose jobs are to keep both the dog and the President comfortable and alive.

The Secret Service agents will jump in front of a bullet for the President. It is a sign of low character that the President would not do something about his dog when the dog continues to bite those who’d take their own lives to save the life of Joe Biden.

What a sorry excuse for a human. The small things reveal character. This small thing reveals a lot about Joe Biden’s character. For progressives who say “but Trump,” that’s exactly the point. They’d be furious about Trump if he had a dog biting Secret Service agents. The gals on The View would demand the dog be put down.

But they’ll make excuses for their own Trump who only now, because of yet another news story, finally disappeared the dog. It shouldn’t take repeated news stories to do the right thing.
