Please join us in praying for the communities in the paths of the storms last evening, and especially for those families who experienced the death of family members. We also continue to pray for survivors reliving the trauma of past tornadoes.
District superintendents and disaster response teams are in communication with our impacted churches and communities. We are aware of significant facility damage to Fellowship UMC in Clarksville and to Bellshire UMC in northern Nashville.
At this time, it is important for volunteers to not deploy and wait for further instruction from first responders. The TWK Disaster Response Team is in communication with other Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) about how best to respond to community needs.
