One Day at a Time, Lord.

With all that is going on around this world – more specifically all the *disasters* here in America – The entire Western parts of America being on fire – The Hurricanes, Flooding, Tornado’s, and the swarms of Earthquakes in S.E. Idaho.

As I was listening to my Sunday morning preachers one of them told a story about a man whistling “One Day At A Time, Sweet Jesus”.  That hit me as so key to what this nation is going thru right now so I looked up a version sung by Cristy Lane on You Tube – a version I have liked for years – –  I hope many of you will click on that link and listen to her sing that song – a song so relevant to what is going on across America.

This word from my best friend regarding my comments about Satan going nuts in his agenda to destroy all that God created  —
“About all that…..  Yes judgment via our worst enemies. Luciferian. He’s been waiting a long time for this–even though it’s a loss.
No one and no region will go unscathed as the wheat comes out with the tares when weeding comes before harvest.”

And here is a recent devotional from Evangelist Al Garza, a long time friend of mine that fits with my encouragement to all to Accept Jesus before it is too late – it is our CHOICE to do so or not.  Like my signature line – “It isn’t who you are – It is WHOSE you are!!!”

God and the milkman

He who teaches and preaches the Word of God is much like the milkman of old. His job was to deliver milk to the doorstep of the consumers. It was up to them to open the door, bring in their ration, and drink.

God’s revelation of Himself in the Bible contains everything man needs to know about God in order to relish fellowship with Him. If the Bible is truly the Word of God, then it is the final authority for all matters of faith, religious practice, and morals. There is no doubt that the Bible is the Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:15) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. (16) All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: (17) That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.

“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.”
Romans 8:18 (KJV)

In Christ our Lord, Evangelist Al Garza

I pray that this will awaken many of you who have so far resisted the Call of Christ.  I don’t want to think that any of you will end up on the DOWN elevator rather than the UP staircase.
