My Best Friend Jenna Boutique of Jackson held the 7th annual Lights, Camera, Fashion show to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital Feb. 3 at the Carl Perkins Civic Center in downtown Jackson. The event featured 40 models from high schools across West Tennessee. Leia Estes, a former St. Jude patient, was the special guest for the night to help raise funds for the hospital.

Hannah Walker was chosen as the Top Model followed by Mackenzie McCommon as First Runner Up, and Alex Gipson as Second Runner Up. Rachel Davis was named Most Photogenic while Katie Converse was chosen by the audience as the Crowd Favorite. To vote for the crowd favorite, members of the audience placed a dollar for each vote in a bag that was labeled with the name of the model of their choice. The model who received the most money was then chosen as the crowd favorite.

With a goal of $50,000, all proceeds received from the runway event will be revealed Feb. 19 when a check is presented to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event raised $41,292.45 for St Jude in 2017.

My Best Friend Jenna Boutique, owned by Jenna King of Jackson, provided the amazing evening gowns presented by the high school models. The Boutique provides elegant ladies’ formal wear for events such as proms, pageants, weddings, and other formal occasions.
