Pontius Pilate asked Jesus, “What is truth?”
Jesus had already answered the question, What is truth? before Pilate asked it; “I have come into the world, to bear witness to the truth; everyone who is of the truth listens to my voice” (John 18:37).
The dictionary defines truth as “conformity to fact or actuality” a statement proven to be or accepted as true. But God, has revealed His truth to us through His Word, the Bible.
So, What is truth? John 17:17. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. Truth is only possible through a personal relationship with the One who claims to be the Truth, Jesus Christ.
God Who created the heavens and the earth and Who has revealed Himself to us in order that we might know Him personally through His Son Jesus Christ. That my brothers and sister, is TRUTH. John 10:9.
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture;. Romans 1:18. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Today, many are embracing a cultural relativism that denies any type of truth; darkness is their domain. John 3:21.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. When we listen to Jesus, we hear the truth. He is the voice of truth.
