CAGW’s 2018 Taxpayer Priorities Survey

We want to encourage you to take a moment now to participate in CAGW’s 2018 Taxpayer Priorities Survey.

In just a few short weeks, Congress will take up the 12 spending bills to fund government operations in fiscal year 2019 in earnest.

When they do, your elected officials need to know that concerned taxpayers like you want them to make controlling spending a top priority.

That’s why it’s so vital that you complete our Taxpayer Priorities Survey today. Your responses will show which tax and spending issues are most important to Americans like you, Frank.

For example, I want you to tell me – and Congress:

  • How you rate President Trump’s job performance on fiscal issues like the budget;
  • What you believe are the biggest threats to America’s economic security;
  • What you feel are the best reasons for cutting runaway spending;
  • Your views on other important tax and spending issues.

The results of this nationwide survey will be tabulated and publicized to the news media, the public, Trump Administration officials, and congressional offices. We will use your survey answers not only to telegraph where Americans like you want public officials to focus their attention this fall, but also to demonstrate that the mandate for leaner, limited government is still going strong.

With Congress soon to make tough spending choices, it’s more important than ever that your elected officials hear your voice on these critical issues. Please, before you do anything else today, take a moment to complete CAGW’s Taxpayer Priorities Survey. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

And when you do, I also want to ask you to make a tax-deductible contribution to help us highlight the issues YOU believe are most important and carry on our work to assist President Trump and fiscal conservatives in Congress in getting America’s financial house in order.

Frank, your survey answers will be enormously important as we work with Trump Administration officials and our allies in Congress to set priorities for both before and after the mid-term elections.

However, we also need your financial support if we are going to continue to provide them with the research, recommendations, and arguments they need to create a smaller, less wasteful government and keep building a groundswell of public support for deep spending cuts.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on these important issues.

Thomas A. Schatz
