Some People Seem to Have it All

As many of you know, I spend each Sunday morning listening and watching those preachers that I believe preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ – not the Social – Prosperity – many gods – denominational doctrine.  I switch back and forth between Daystar and TBN.  A few of them I watch twice as the schedules are set between the two channels.  Pastor Ed Young is one of the *repeats* and this one I was so glad to have repeated as the message was one that really struck deep in me.  I grew up with the old Holy Roller type preachers (and some of the Lukewarm ones too).  It is so sad that todays sermons seem to ignore the HELL FIRE messages as it is failing to educate the end of the WIDE ROAD TO HELL.  Going to be a lot of really shocked people who fail to get the message of the strong possibility of spending eternity in HELL and not floating on some cloud playing a harp as they now think.  I have a habit of wanting to see the message being given to be clear in scripture – not some denominational doctrine book.  Just being a *good* person isn’t going to admit you to Heaven.  Jesus was VERY clear on what one has to do to spend eternity with our Heavenly Father and our Lord and Savior.  It isn’t wearing certain kind of underware or saying so many Hail Mary’s and Our Fathers or confessing to some priest in a booth. I challenge anyone to show me that instruction in the Holy Bible.  Jesus clearly stated:  John 14:6  Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
I hope many of you will watch this video of this sermon by Pastor Ed Young  from 10/14/18.

What kind of SHADOW do you cast?
MATT  7:16  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Some People Seem to Have it All

SCRIPTURE: ECCLESIASTES 6:1 – 6:12

Our shadow is a symbol of our influence, and it is a reflection of all that we are – what we do, what we say, and how we speak. Periodically we need to ask ourselves, “What kind of shadow am I casting as I walk through life?”
