March to End Roe vs. Wade

Today, a very important march will take place in Washington D.C. to mark an infamous decision. Since the 1973 Supreme Court cases, Roe v. Wade and Doe v. Bolton, which legalized abortion on-demand in our country, over 60 million lives have been lost to abortion.

Saving lives, ending abortion, and promoting a culture of life is why the March for Life is held each year. The pro-life community has certainly made some great progress. Here in Tennessee, we were finally successful in passing Amendment 1 which removed the so-called “right to abortion” from our TN Constitution. And when the dust settled from all the lawsuits against it, Amendment 1 STOOD STRONG. Praise the Lord! We’ve passed other important pieces of legislation along with other states, however, Roe v. Wade still stands.

We will not be satisfied until Roe v. Wade is OVERTURNED!

A pro-life marcher who participated last year said: “It was a beautiful and empowering march. I am so hopeful because there were thousands of like-minded individuals marching to end abortion – an evil responsible for the 1/3 of my generation missing.”

Vice President Mike Pence is a longtime pro-life advocate and signed legislation while he was Indiana governor to save babies from abortions. March for Life has announced that Vice President Pence will address its 37th annual Rose Dinner happening today, January 18th.
