Police to Charge Woman with First-Degree Murder in Homicide of Ex-Husband

Jackson police will charge Bradi Baker, 60, of Jackson, with First-Degree Murder for the shooting death of her recently divorced husband. She is scheduled to be formally arraigned April 10 in Jackson City Court.

On April 8, 2019, around 3 p.m., Officers responded to a shooting outside a home at 1305 Hollywood Drive, at the corner of Hollywood and Sherell Drive. The victim, identified as Geoffrey Brunkhorst, 58, of Memphis, was apparently deceased upon Officer’s arrival.

Officers encountered an armed woman at the scene who witnesses identified as the shooting suspect. She was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Madison County Jail. Investigators identified her as Brunkhorst’s ex-wife, Bradi Baker.
