ALERT! Get your official TN Don’t Tread on Me License plate

Bet you didn’t know that on Oct 7, 1780 volunteers from what is now East Tennessee and surrounding areas put a major butt-whuppin on British General John Ferguson and his loyalist forces at King’s Mountain. This victory was a major turning point in the American Revolution. Read more here:

The Brave Volunteers from Tennessee gathered before the battle (“muster” in military lingo) at what is now Sycamore Shoals State Historic Park in Elizabethton, TN. More info here:

To help preserve this very important historic site the Friends of Sycamore Shoals non-profit organization use the proceeds from the sale of a “Don’t Tread on Me” Gadsden Flag Tennessee specialty License Plate to help maintain and improve the site.

When you renew your license we HIGHLY RECOMMEND you spend the few extra bucks to get your very own “Don’t Tread on Me” license plate. We have them and we know lots of Tennesseans who have one.
