The Hardball Realities of Obamacare While Paul Ryan shrugs, the media mocks. That’s the impression that Chris Matthews gave on his recent MSNBC segment from “Hardball,” where he criticizes Representative Ryan for his new budget plan which would get rid of most of the spending outlined in Obamacare. “Call it ‘Ryan Shrugged,’” asserted Matthews. “It kills the President’s health care […]

By Jodi Preis Original Source I spoke directly with House Representative Brenda Gilmore yesterday, and I was pleased to learn that she has pulled from today’s Subcommittee agenda, a bill that had many dog owners across the state of Tennessee very concerned, and rightfully so. Impact Imminent?

on March 20, 2013, 8:02 AM / in National News, News, Opinion

Submitted by Bruce Krasting Source I’ve been following the Press coverage of Cyprus, the talking heads are saying that Cyprus is a manageable issue. Nothing to worry about at all. I’m going to disagree with FTA and the TV folks. The chances of a bank run have never been higher. Tyler’s right. We’re looking at a black hole. The “Other” […]

ANDERSON COOPER KISSES “BOY SCOUT” TO OFFEND TRADITIONAL AMERICA

on March 20, 2013, 7:58 AM / in National News, News, Opinion

God’s people were told to NOT take part of the gods of the lands they entered into.  They ignored that commandment and allowed some of their members to worship the idols  – in direct  violation of God’s Word.  When they did that they began to suffer the consequences of their rebellion.  When American churches lowered their moral values and teaching […]

Love suffers long and is kind

on March 19, 2013, 11:50 AM / in Opinion, Religion

You might think that after all of this I might have an ucler by now considering my political and moral stances, but those are the very reasons that I don’t. Believe me when I tell that I have gotten emotional and have been pushed to the treshold of my tolerance many times. I try my best to remain calm and remember the verse about how “love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; . . . love does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5) and I try to practice that thought.

Debt ‘Not An Immediate Problem’?

on March 19, 2013, 7:02 AM / in National News, News

Editor’s Note: With all this talk of “balance” I don’t even know the definition anymore. Webster defines it as follows: An even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady, or put (something) in a steady position so that it does not fall. What Obama means is an “Immoderate” approach. Where they do what just one […]
