The Surprising Racial Division Among Democrats

I’m noticing a pattern that should panic Democrats who are looking beyond this election.

As Democrats continue their open debate about whether Joe Biden should remain atop the ticket, a racial division is beginning to emerge that has the potential to spark a massive civil war on the left. Between 18 members of Congress, one Senator, a movie star, a producer, and countless top staffers from Bill Clinton and Barack Obama’s administrations, none of the voices calling on Biden to step aside are Black.

In fact, Black Democrats appear to overwhelmingly support Biden and believe he should remain the party’s nominee. From James Clyburn to Val Demmings to Jaime Harrison to Ashley Allison, Black Democrats are vocally and forcefully supporting Biden. They point to the Black Democrats who supported Biden on Super Tuesday in 2020 and quite literally saved the party from nominating Bernie Sanders. They point to the millions of Democrats who nominated Biden during the primary knowing full well the risks that come at his age. They claim that this is democracy and that forcing the party’s democratically nominated candidate out is just wrong. This is setting up for a massive civil war.

But the most noteworthy aspect to me is that prominent Black Democrats are so publically backing Biden despite Kamala Harris being the obvious heir if Biden were to step aside. These Black voices on the left are essentially saying they would rather stick with a white dementia patient as President than jump ship to a black female because they inherently understand how unpopular she really is. Hey Dems, this is a problem. Watch:
