Men Save America!

(Chuck Muth) – Oh, happy day!

Here’s the thing about traditional men…

We’re raised not to sweat the small stuff.  Our job is to protect and provide for our families.  We usually don’t get too worked up unless or until there’s a threat or emergency.  At which point, as John Wayne so famously put it…

     “A man’s gotta do what a man’s gotta do.”

And by attacking and criticizing traditional men, Kamalala-Ding-Dong demonstrated that she and her “girlie men” – particularly Tampon Tim and “Dougie” – were a threat.  As such, the “toxic masculinity” kicked in and men kicked Harris-Walz out.

As The Duke also famously said…

“I won’t be wronged. I won’t be insulted. I won’t be laid a-hand on. I don’t do these things to other people, and I require the same from them.”

America was under a serious threat.  And traditional men saved it yesterday, with ample assistance from strong, intelligent women.  Like Tulsi Gabbard, not Cardi B.

Anyway, after watching PRESIDENT-ELECT Donald Trump’s victory speech early this morning I flipped on MSNBC to watch those goofs flip out.  It was a thing of beauty.

Some other quick observations…

TRUMP won.  Not, Trump WON.

Yes, he won.  But it wasn’t because of Republican Party get-out-the-vote programs, ballot harvesting, getting people to vote early, door-knocking, and all that stuff.  If it was, then Trump’s coattails would have been much longer.

As it is, a number of GOP candidates won while doing demonstrably worse than Trump.  And others who should have won, didn’t.

If Trump’s victory was due to party operations, you would have seen down-ballot GOP candidates matching Trump’s performance.

In other news…

Abortion lost.  Yes, Question 6 passed in Nevada by a healthy margin.  But abortion as a political weapon to be used against GOP candidates flopped miserably.  Democrats overplayed their hand.  It was all abortion, all the time.  “Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!”  And people got sick of it.

Race-baiting also lost, as Republicans continued to attract more and more blacks and Hispanics to the Grand Ol’ Party. The race card got TRUMPED.

And the biggest race-hustling loser yesterday was Nevada Attorney General A.Ron Ford.  Now that his Queen has been dethroned, his path to DC has evaporated.

As such, the term-limited racial arsonist’s only option now is to get whooped by Joe Lombardo in the 2026 governor’s race.  *IF* he gets past Cisco Aguilar in the Democrat primary first.

And you know what, I just might have a Bud Light today to thank them for helping re-elect Donald Trump and many other GOP candidates.

Their stupid “woke” decision to put that tranny, Dylan Mulvaney, on their beer cans really WOKE men up.  Don’t mess with a man’s beer!

Men of America…this Bud’s for you!

And the Mulvaney kerfuffle also set the stage for Kamala’s downfall over her taxpayer-funded sex change operations for prisoners.  I heard the Trump campaign ran those TV spots over 30,000 times during men’s SPORTS events.

Traditional men…and women…are tired of having trans-men in our faces and shoved down our throats.  And the backlash was brutal yesterday.

Speaking of which, hat’s off to Riley Gaines.  She put a face to the insanity of men playing in women’s sports and has been an absolute gem as a spokesperson.

We all – traditional men and women alike – have a lot to do to fix what J’Biden, Kamala, and the D’s have done to our country.  But with Trump at the helm, it is indeed morning in America again.

As the great philosopher Larry the Cable Guy puts it, time to “Git ‘er done!”

NEVADA NEWS & VIEWS

Rather than link to stories today, let me share some observations on some Nevada races based on this morning’s numbers while we wait for late mail-in ballots to finish arriving…

Republicans have likely lost Heidi Gansert’s seat in Washoe County, which would put them in a super-minority.  HOWEVER…

Carrie Buck held her Senate seat and Republican Lori Rogich is leading Democrat incumbent Dallas Harris by 2,095 votes.

Lori is an absolutely stellar candidate and wonderful human being.  What she’s done for disadvantaged kids should qualify her for sainthood.  If she ultimately flips this seat, she’ll not only save Republicans from a super-minority but greatly enhance the quality of representation in Carson City.

And even though it looks like Jill Douglass is gonna come up short in Senate District 6 against Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannibizzaro, what an impressive bootstrap campaign she put together.

She trails by just 2,751 votes out of over 65,000 votes cast.  Unfortunately, she had a third-party candidate in the race who took 1,759 votes from the pot.

This race was nevertheless doable if the powers-that-be had gotten behind her earlier and with just a little bit of money.  Ah, what might have been.  But I can pretty much guarantee you ain’t heard the last from Jill Douglass.  She’s a warrior.

On to the Assembly…

Despite Democrat Assembly Speaker Steve “Donut Boy” Yeager pouring almost a quarter-million dollars into a pair of scam PACs set up to take out Heidi Kasama (AD2) and Lisa Cole (AD4), he rolled snake eyes.  Both will hold these GOP seats handily.

Speaking of Yeager, Erica Neely trails the proprietor of the Carson City Favor Factory by just 267 votes.  And if late mail-in ballots and “ballot curing” swing her way, she still has a shot at taking him out.

Either way, Erica scared the pants off him. And you ain’t heard the last from her either.

In Assembly District 35, Republican Rebecca Edgeworth leads the Democrat candidate by 3,624 votes.  Even mail-in ballots can’t save this seat for the D’s. Which means Republicans will pick up at least one seat and protect Gov. Lombardo’s vetoes.

HUGE VICTORY for the good guys. Which was the most important objective for Campaign ’24 in Nevada.

In Assembly District 8, Kelly Chapman trails Democrat Duy Nguyen by 1,661 votes.  Late mail probably can’t swing that race.  HOWEVER…

The GOP candidate in 2022 – a non-presidential election – lost the seat by 2,433 votes.  So even if Kelly doesn’t go to Carson City, her campaign definitely helped boost Lori Rogich’s prospects in the Senate seat that overlaps her Assembly seat.

Talk about taking one for the team!  I’m so proud of her and enjoyed every minute working with her.  And her mom’s pretty damned great, too!

In what many will see as the biggest shocker among Assembly races this cycle, Republican Nan Roecker is leading Democrat incumbent Max Carter by 310 votes.  The mail-in ballots worry me, but this could still turn out to be the Upset of the Year.

In Assembly District 21, Republican April Arndt – one of my personal favs – leads incumbent Democrat Elaine Marzola by 181 votes.  This is gonna be a nail-biter as late mail-in ballots are counted.

In Assembly District 29, Republican Annette Dawson Owens trails the Democrat candidate by 550 votes.  Gonna be tough to make up, but ADO ain’t outta the game yet.  Hope she pulls it off.  Definitely another of my favorite candidates this cycle.

In a bit of a surprise, Republican David Brog is trailing incumbent Democrat Shea Backus in Assembly District 37 by 313 votes.  I had that seat pegged as a definite GOP pickup. Still might be, but it really never should have been this close.

And finally, in what could possibly be the sweetest upset of the cycle, Republican Rafael Arroyo is leading gun-grabbing Assembly Majority Leader Sanda Jauregui by 344 votes. Again, mail-in ballots worry me, but I’d rather be in Raef’s boots than Sandy’s stilettoes.

And if he pulls it off, a big factor will have been the backing of the Latin Chamber of Commerce.  Raef’s a small business owner and the LCC went “all in” for him, while the useless Las Vegas Chamber threw him under the bus and backed Jauregui.

Remind me again why any small business owner would be a member of the anti-small business Las Vegas Chamber?

And to wrap up the Assembly, let me congratulate Assemblywoman Danielle Gallant for squeaking by in her re-election campaign by just 35,171 votes!

I kid. Danielle ran unopposed.  HOWEVER…

I gotta tell you, she worked harder in Clark County trying to elect additional Republicans to the Assembly and protect the guv’s vetoes than any other caucus member. And I say that even though she and I sometimes fight like…well, husband and wife!

But seriously, if Republicans hope to get into the MAJORITY in 2026 – yes, I’m already looking forward to the next election! – they need a “wartime consiglieri” who “gets” all of the three P’s: Policy, Politics & Process.

Danielle has the potential to be the “Newt Gingrich of Nevada” who will lead the hapless Assembly Republican Caucus out of the political wilderness and into the Promised Land.

And I guaran-damn-tee ya she won’t use that majority to pass another massive tax hike like Sandoval and the RINOs did in 2015.

In other noteworthy races…

Third time appears to have been the charm!

April Becker – Citizen Outreach’s 2023 “Conservative of the Year” award recipient – leads her Democrat opponent by 10,786 votes in Clark County Commission C.  That’s the same district that Stavros Anthony “lost” by 15 votes in 2020.

That was the same year April ran for the first time against Sen. Cannibizzaro and almost pulled off the upset.  At the time I wrote…

“(April’s) extremely personable, confident and conservative.  She doesn’t suffer fools gladly and won’t take crap off anybody.  She’s nobody’s puppet.  She’s no creampuff.  She’s no wallflower.  She’s no pushover.  To the contrary, April has the fighting spirit of a honey badger.

“I don’t know what, if anything, lies in April’s political future.  Losing a close race that may very well have been stolen is a pretty bitter pill to swallow.  But if she does stay in the game, Katy bar the door.”

Well, after that loss she hopped back up on the horse and ran for Congress against Democrat Rep. Suzie Q. Lee – and again came up just short.

But in a testament to perseverance, April tossed her bonnet into the county commission race this time and is likely to be the first Republican on that board in 20 years!

This Bud’s for you, April.  Give ‘em hell!

But there’s still a shot that she won’t be alone. Republican Ryan Hamilton trails incumbent Democrat Michael Naft by just 645 votes out of just under 132,000 cast.

Almost nobody – except Ryan himself – saw this coming.  He still could pull it off.

Some other good news…

  • Question 3 – “Rigged Choice Voting” – went down in flames, while Question 7 – “Photo ID” – crushed it.
  • Looks like Suzan Baucum is gonna win a seat back on the bench.  She’s leading in the Las Vegas Justice of the Peace Department 4 race by 14,485 votes.
  • More good judicial news: Tina Talim and Erika Mendoza are both going to win District Court judgeships.
  • Looks like longtime Mesquite Mayor Allan Litman’s run is over.  Jesse Whipple holds a comfortable lead.
  • And congrats to one of my former Campaign Boot Camp students, Denise Ashurst, who is on her way to winning a seat on the Boulder City Council.

But I saved the best for last…

The Clark County school board has been the most dysfunctional political organization in the state for years now.  Worse even than the Assembly Republican Caucus, so that should tell you something.

Now get this…

THREE CONSERVATIVES – Emily Stevens, Lydia Dominguez, and Lorena Biassotti – beat the teachers union’s puppets and will win their seats!

Oh, lordy, lordy, lordy…are things gonna get shaken up there next year!  Might actually be hope of getting Clark County off the list as of one of the worst school districts in the entire country.

You go, girls!

And that’s all I have to say about that.  Onward!
