Postmortem on Harris Campaign Heats Up

President-elect Donald Trump’s decisive win over Vice President Kamala Harris has prompted blunt advice for the Democratic party from within and without.

Democratic strategist James Carville blamed Harris’ loss on her support of “exotic” policies and on President Joe Biden not dropping out of the race early enough.

NBA great Charles Barkley, an Independent, blamed the loss on a lack of solutions to immigration and inflation, and he criticized Harris’ strategy of using celebrities to influence voters.

Real Time host Bill Maher criticized Democrats who call Trump supporters “stupid” saying, “I got bad news for you. They don’t have a monopoly on stupid.”

At least one Democratic leader could see the writing on the wall before Election Day. Sen. John Fetterman (D-PA) criticized the party’s “woke” positions during a Nov. 2 appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience and said moving forward, Democrats should stop “freaking out” over every move Trump makes.
