When The Left Turns Violent (Again)

When Elon Musk bought Twitter, a significant portion of the radical progressives left the platform for a little-known startup called Blue Sky. They claimed that Elon Musk would allow unfettered hate and nastiness to spread on Twitter so they needed their own safe space where they could be protected.

After Wednesday’s assassination of the UnitedHealthcare CEO, one of the trending topics on Blue Sky was the justification for the killer’s actions and how executives of large insurance companies should be targeted. As the victim’s wife is left without a husband and his young children are left without a father, others on Blue Sky suggested creating an underground railroad to help the shooter escape to freedom.

The same people who are defending this shooter are the ones who justified the attacks on October 7th and parroted the rhetoric that inspired attacks on the Family Research Council and on a baseball field full of Republicans. For all of the talk of Trump’s rhetoric leading to violence, the actionable violence almost always comes from the left.
