As Democrats have engaged in post-mortem discussions of their election losses in seven swing states and all three branches of government, a common consensus has emerged. With the exception of individuals like John Fetterman, Seth Moulton, and others, the party has determined that they lost the election because they didn’t effectively share their message. In fact, many Democrats are beginning to theorize that if Joe Biden had stepped aside sooner, Harris’ narrow election loss could easily have been a resounding victory that potentially could have flipped the House.
This is the insular nature of the Democratic Party on full display. The same people who see no problem using absurd terminology like “Latinx” fully expect parents to embrace boys in their daughters’ bathrooms as a sign of progress. Democrats don’t have a persuasion problem.
