Snowfall aided law enforcement in southeastern parts of the state in capturing a fugitive from Georgia on Sunday morning.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving an anonymous tip around 8 a.m. on Sunday that Brandon Frady, who was wanted in Georgia for charges including aggravated assault and simple battery, was at a nearby home.
When deputies arrived to investigate, Frady was no longer there. Additional deputies and a K-9 unit soon discovered fresh tracks in the snow and followed them up a steep ridge to find Frady hiding behind a fallen tree.
Frady was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Hamilton County Jail and Detention Center.
