(Chuck Muth) – Weeks ago I came to the conclusion that the “rigging” of the 2020 presidential election by Biden, the Democrats, and their allies in the Propaganda Press was a blessing in disguise.
Had Trump been re-elected four years ago, the Democrats still would have been in charge of Congress – complete with unrelenting investigations and obstructions of Trump’s agenda – and Twitter would have still been under the control of people suffering from terminal TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome).
But now…oh, happy day!
I was glued to the TV from start to finish yesterday, watching the pomp and circumstance surrounding Trump’s triumphant return to the White House. Competency and common sense are back in the driver’s seat after the greatest political comeback in American history.
“I stand before you now as proof that you should never believe that something is impossible to do,” President #47 said. “In America, the impossible is what we do best.”
Amen and hallelujah.
And the president did not disappoint those who were promised a “shock and awe” first day of “Trump 2: The Sequel.” A few observations…
One of my favorite parts of the day was what could have turned out to be major foul-up after they couldn’t get the music to play for Carrie Underwood’s singing of “America the Beautiful.”
But after a couple minutes of uncomfortable waiting for the technical difficulties to be fixed, Underwood pulled a classy version of Bill O’Reilly’s infamous “We’ll do it live! $%#& it!” meltdown.
“I can just sign it,” she confidently mouthed to panicked inauguration staffers. And then proceeded to do just that, inviting the crowd to sing along as she beautifully sang it a cappella.
Talk about a save under duress!
What else, what else?
Oh, because I’m a masochist I spent most of my day watching the ceremonies and speeches on CNN and MSNBC. Wanted to enjoy their anguish…and they didn’t disappoint.
They flipped out over really “important” stuff – like Trump not having his hand on the Bible when he took the oath – because Justice Roberts started too quickly before Melania could get up there with the bibles – and Elon waving to the crowd at the rally in what they falsely claimed was the Nazi salute.
And, boy, did they have a cow over Trump’s pardon of the J6 political prisoners!
But my favorite part of the day was clearly Trump’s inaugural address, where he methodically sliced-and-diced the last four years of the Biden-Harris administration with Sleepy Joe and Kamala seated stone-faced, unable to escape, right in the front row!

- Revoked the security clearance of the 51 intel agents who signed the Hunter Biden laptop letter
- The firing of senior career diplomats
- The firing of the DEI-obsessed head of the Coast Guard
- Ordering government employees to return to work at their offices full time
- The shout-out to Barron Trump at the afternoon rally, who proceeded to command the room like his old man
- Biden flying off in disgrace; a scene reminiscent of the helicopter evacuation at the end of the Vietnam War
- The impromptu press conference at the White House in the evening where Trump answered every question for over an hour and found the letter Biden left for him
- Melania’s gown at the inaugural ball
- The Trump-Vance sword dance at the inaugural ball
