Apple announced a $500 billion investment in the U.S. over the next five years, including plans for a new manufacturing facility, an expansion of its Advanced Manufacturing Fund, and the creation of 20,000 U.S. jobs.

CEO Tim Cook emphasized Apple’s commitment to American innovation with the announcement, aligning with President Trump’s push for increased domestic production.

The tech giant plans to start producing servers in Houston later this year, with a 250,000-square-foot server manufacturing facility in Texas scheduled to open in 2026.

Earlier this month, the U.S. placed a 10% tariff on all Chinese goods, which could raise the cost of components Apple imports from China for its devices.
