The Conflict

I have believed that the governments of the world have different things on their agenda than God’s kingdom. While I understand their conflict, I have often wondered how our global powers maneuver to have their way and yet work to keep in step with the priorities of your heavenly home.

I, myself, run into the same problem. How do I carry out my administrative duties for the church and still remain a Christian in approaching those that do nothing but demonstrate characters that only have their own desirous needs at heart?

I must remember that the story is not over. The righteousness, justice, and light of the Lord will prevail and I must seek peace in my corner of the world and trust God with the rest.

“If possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone… Do not avenge yourselves… because it is written: ‘Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay,’ says the Lord… Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.”
Romans 12:18–21
