Having learned nothing from Donald Trump taking Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the woodshed, Canada’s Justin Trudeau came out swinging today, threatening higher tariffs on the U.S.
To which Trump replied on Truth Social…
“Please explain to Governor Trudeau, of Canada, that when he puts on a Retaliatory Tariff on the U.S., our Reciprocal Tariff will immediately increase by a like amount!”
FAFO, baby.
And for those who say tariffs won’t work, TSMC announced yesterday that they are going to invest $100 billion in the United States, build five new facilities, and create 20,000 American jobs.
That’s in addition to $500 billion from Apple, $27 billion from Zepbound, $100 billion from Softbank, $20 billion from DAMAC, and $500 billion from Stargate.
Gee, I wonder if the President will talk about that tonight. Where’s the popcorn?
