Storms Batter U.S. with Tornadoes, Snow

powerful storm system has swept across the United States since Monday, resulting in at least three fatalities in Mississippi.

In Oklahoma, tornadoes caused significant structural damage, including the destruction of a veterinary clinic’s roof in Hugo (see video here), while the Midwest faced blizzard conditions, with heavy snowfall and numerous traffic incidents reported.

A massive dust storm in New Mexico led to near-zero visibility, vehicle accidents, and road closures (video here), while high winds and dry conditions have sparked wildfires in Texas, notably in San Patricio County.

As the storm system advances eastward, over 64 million people from Florida to New York are under severe weather alerts.
