MUTH’S TRUTHS
(Chuck Muth) – President Donald Trump’s speech last night was a barn-burner that has been widely applauded by most Americans.
But not Nevada’s two Democrat U.S. senators.
Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto – fresh off voting AGAINST keeping men out of women’s sports this week – opined that Trump is “threatening to gut Medicaid, Social Security, and public education funding” and “is focused on paying for tax breaks for his billionaire friends.”
Not true, of course. But when did that ever stop a Democrat from trying to score political points by trotting out the ol’ “Tax Breaks for the Rich” card?
Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen – who also voted AGAINST keeping men out of women’s sports – seconded that emotion, claiming “Trump is looking to cut Medicaid to pay for more tax giveaways for billionaires.”
It’s almost as if they’re all reading from the same talking points script.
Masto and Rosen seem to be having difficulty adjusting to their newfound irrelevance – along with the rest of their Democrat colleagues in Congress.
But, hey, at least they didn’t get kicked out of the chamber last night!
