The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman writes, “On Sunday, a flight carrying more than 200 alleged members of the Tren De Aragua gang who were illegally residing in the U.S. arrived in El Salvador as part of the Trump administration’s efforts to deport illegal aliens. Trump used the 1798 Alien Enemies Act.”
But “Judge James Boasberg issued a temporary restraining order to stop the administration from protecting Americans.”
Vice President JD Vance: “There were violent criminals and rapists in our country. Democrats fought to keep them here. President Trump deported them.”
Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter!”
Democrats are experiencing that “woe” as they keep supporting issues that are evil, dark and bitter.
In the movie, A Christmas Story, Ralphie got his mouth washed out with soap for saying, “Oooh fuuudge!”
Then we hear adult Ralphie’s voice say, “Only I didn’t say “Fudge.” I said THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the “F-dash-dash-dash” word!”
Well, the Democrats have been using that word a lot in public speeches these days. If only they could have their mouths washed out with Lifebuoy.
Ephesians 4:29 (NLT) says, “Don’t use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.”
Our culture has become desensitized to the use of foul language thanks to TV shows and movies, Hollywood has corrupted our conversation. The general public may think it’s harmless, but the Bible warns about the power of the tongue.
James 3:6 says, “And among all the parts of the body, the tongue is a flame of fire. It is a whole world of wickedness, corrupting your entire body. It can set your whole life on fire, for it is set on fire by hell itself.”
Personal note: Once upon a time, I was contacted by a guy who wanted to interview me for his podcast. I had some reservations because he told me he was a cussing Christian. He said the Bible doesn’t say anything about curse words. Then I shared with him Ephesians 4:29. He called me back the next day and said that that verse really shook him and he was going to change. He never scheduled me for his podcast.
