Six Colorado chefs, pastry chefs, restaurants, and cocktail professionals have been named finalists in the 2025 James Beard Awards.
In January, 14 contenders from the state were named semifinalists. Of those, six finalists were selected, representing nominees in Denver, Boulder, Parker, and Grand Junction. See the list here.
The Michelin-starred Frasca Food and Wine, which boasts 11 past nominations, is up for Outstanding Restaurant. Penelope Wong, a second-time finalist, is nominated for Best Chef: Mountain Region.
The winners of this year’s awards will be announced on June 16 in a ceremony at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
