Two Tennessee Counties Rank High in U.S. Hit-and-Runs

national study revealed that two Tennessee counties have some of the highest rates of hit-and-run crashes in the United States.

According to the report, Shelby County ranks second in the nation, while Davidson County ranks sixth.

The study’s authors said the study was based on five years of federal transportation data. Counties were ranked according to the number of fatal hit-and-run crashes per 100,000 residents.
