The Beauty Of USA

Kentucky’s Abandoned Places Road Trip will take you to 9 of the most eerie yet interesting sites in the state…many of which are now all but abandoned. From exploring the ruins of an old yacht that served in World War I and touring an old insane asylum, to viewing a historic jail that confined Confederate soldiers and touring an old coal mine via railcar, there’s a little bit of everything along this route. While many of these places are of historical significance to the state of Kentucky, most of them no longer serve the purpose they did initially and are in some form of ruin or decay. Regardless, each of these places in Kentucky make an interesting stop to explore or admire from the outside…and most of them are just plain eerie no matter when you go.
