Beavers Complete Government Dam Project

In the Czech Republic, a beaver colony has completed a long-delayed government dam project without permits, blueprints, or taxpayer funding.

While officials struggled with red tape, the industrious rodents built several dams overnight, creating a vital wetland where authorities had planned a costly $1.2 million revitalization project.

“They beat us to it,” admitted officials. Take a look at the photos here.

The beavers restored a bypass gully, reversing past damage and benefiting rare wetland species. Environmentalists hailed the beavers’ natural instincts, with one official stating, “Beavers always know best.”
