A substitute school bus driver in Castle Rock sparked outrage after dropping 40 Clear Sky Elementary students far from their designated bus stops.
Students were reportedly left at random locations, including near Cedar Hill Cemetery, causing panic and confusion among parents and children.
Parents alleged that the driver skipped stops, used vulgar language, and threatened the students, leaving many children feeling distressed and traumatized.
The Douglas County School District called the incident “incredibly concerning” and confirmed that the driver was placed on leave. The district is conducting an investigation in collaboration with local law enforcement.
