Rewarding selfless acts of kindness have become the hallmark of YouTuber Zachery Dereniowski, aka @mdmotivator.
In his latest video, Dereniowski visits a Home Depot in Ontario, where he approaches employee David Frank, asking for a dollar to buy a bolt while pretending to have left his wallet at home.
Frank, who recently turned 100 and gained recognition as “Home Depot’s Oldest Employee” not only covered the cost himself but personally escorted Dereniowski to the correct aisle to help him find the right bolt.
Dereniowski then surprised Frank with $1,000, which Frank said he plans to pay forward.
When later asked about the secret to a long life, Frank shared his heartfelt advice: “Treat the world like your family. Be nice to them. Be sensible. That’s all.”
