Hub City Flea Market
Monthly flea markets in Jackson are back at the Jackson Fairgrounds (800 South Highland Avenue in Downtown Jackson). For the 2023 season, the flea market will be held on the first weekend of each month. Doors are open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
Chamber Member Breakfast

Members of the Greater Jackson Chamber are invited to the annual Chamber Member Breakfast on Feb. 2 at the Carl Grant Center on the campus of Union University. Jackson Mayor Scott Conger and Madison County Mayor A.J. Massey will present their respective State of the City and State of the County addresses. The event also includes a breakfast buffet for $20.
Reelfoot Lake Eagle Festival
It’s eagle season at Reelfoot Lake. During the winter, hundreds of eagles call the lake home, a sight not to be missed. This family-friendly festival features eagle tours and a variety of interpretive programs. Join experienced park naturalists on daily, bald eagle and waterfowl bus or van tours. During the two-hour tours, eagles can be seen perching, flying, or soaring and snatching a fish from the lake. Telescopes for viewing and information about the natural and cultural history of the wildlife and area are provided. Unable to attend the festival? Reelfoot Lake State Park offers eagle tours in January and February. There is a fee for the Bald Eagle and Waterfowl Tours and reservations are required. St. Brigid’s Day Stew Sale
St. Brigid’s Food Pantry will host a Stew Sale from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at St. Nicholas Orthodox Church (419 Old Humboldt Road in Jackson). They’re offering a variety of hot stews, including traditional Irish Stew, Tortellini and Italian Sausage, Chili, Corn Chowder, and more. You can also enjoy coffee and a hot cocoa bar. Stay and eat a hot meal among friends with Celtic music in the tent. Or you can grab some cold soup in to-go containers for later at $5 per serving. All proceeds benefit St. Brigid’s Food Pantry and the West Tennessee community. They’re also accepting donations of baby diapers and wipes to benefit families of Jackson in cooperation with Hub City Doula.

Music legends tribute show
The Dixie Carter Performing Arts Center presents Travis Ledoyt’s “Sun and the Stars: A Legendary Evening.” Travis Ledoyt is a singer, songwriter, and performer who gained notoriety with his tribute to Elvis Presley starting in 2001. He’s since garnered high praise from those who knew Elvis personally and was dubbed “The World’s Best Young Elvis.” “Sun and the Stars” is a new show that features music from the legends of Sun Records: Presley, Orbison, Cash, Lewis, Perkins, and others. Ledoyt has performed successfully in more than 100 casinos, including Harrah’s, Hard Rock, Cherokee, Isle Of Capri, Horseshoe, Caesars, Diamond Jacks, Diamond Jo’s, and many others. Galentine’s Dinner
Gather your best girlfriends for a fun night of celebrating friendships. Dinner will be served by the men of Elks Lodge 192. Proceeds benefit The Dream Center of Jackson. There will also be some vendors on hand for some fun shopping before dinner is served. There will be lots of fun, some door prizes, a nd a few surprises.
