(Chuck Muth) – Marc Elias is a Democrat attorney who founded Democracy Docket, a website focused on thwarting efforts to better secure the integrity of elections nationwide. He’s also largely responsible for giving us automatic mail-in balloting and ballot harvesting.
Elias has previously worked for Hillary Clinton, John Kerry, Joe Biden, and now Kamala Harris. So in Democrat political circles, he’s a pretty big deal.
And now he’s coming after the Pigpen Project.
A couple days ago, the Democracy Docket took another swipe at our efforts, referring to us as a “right-wing group” and attacking the lawsuits we’ve filed asking the courts to direct county clerks/registrars to process our duly-filed voter challenges.
And yesterday, District Court Judge James Russell granted Elias’ request to intervene in the lawsuits.
So now our little Nevada non-profit organization is going up against various County Clerks/Registrars, their District Attorneys, the Nevada Secretary of State, the Nevada Attorney General…and Marc Elias.
Talk about David vs. Goliath!
You know I don’t make these requests very often, but I have to ask now…
Taxpayers will largely be funding the legal effort to kill our lawsuits, while we have to fund them ourselves from voluntary donations.
Some of you have already kicked in some dough-re-mi for the effort without being asked – and I’m EXTREMELY GRATEFUL for your support.
But we need more. This litigation is going to be expensive – court costs, travel expenses, legal fees, etc.
I think we’ve built a solid case, and our attorney is the same attorney who successfully beat back legal efforts to block the photo ID initiative from appearing on the ballot in November.
But we’re up against an extremely powerful army of government officials and professional litigators.
This is a critically important fight. If we win, it’ll be a game-changer for how citizens in Nevada like you and me can participate in cleaning up Nevada’s dirty voter files. We ALL have a stake in this.
So, please…check your sofa cushions, raid your kids’ piggy bank, and send us as much as you can as soon as you can. This lawsuit – because of how close Election Day is – is moving at light speed.
We need the help NOW.

Nevada News & Views
Well, OK then. With that out of the way…
The overwhelming response to my email yesterday asking for your opinion of a possible new e-newsletter for Nevada News & Views that would “aggregate” stories of interest to Nevada conservatives was…YES!
“Thanks, Chuck,” wrote Roger Holiday. “Got some news I wasn’t aware of.”
Well, that’s exactly what it’s all about. So I’m moving forward with the project. But it’s going to take a little time to get it set up, and it might not be daily to start.
First, I need create a new email platform separate from Muth’s Truths so people can choose one or the other or both. I also need to do some work on developing some additional “fun” content – like quizzes, polls, online petitions, trivia, jokes, etc. – to keep things interesting.
And there’s still a question about how to fund it. My intent is to make it free…just like Muth’s Truths. But there are only so many hours in the day and I have a lot of other irons in the fire.
In fact – and due to popular demand – I’m also in the middle of developing a virtual campaign training program – “Campaign Management College” – that will be available online to conservative candidates, organization leaders, and activists all over the state and anywhere in the country.
The studio is already built in a spare room at my house, but shooting the training videos is gonna take time – especially since I still don’t know where the “on” button is on the camera. It ain’t easy being a technotrogldyte!
Anyway, to make Nevada News & Views a daily publication, I’m going to need to hire some assistants who can make sure it gets put together and goes out when I’m traveling or otherwise occupied – like with the ongoing Pigpen Project lawsuit.
And as Morton Blackwell so famously put it, you can’t save the world if you can’t pay the rent. In the meantime…
