Felony Gun Trial Begins for Hunter Biden

The felony gun trial of Hunter Biden begins in Delaware—the first in history for the child of a sitting U.S. president.

Justice Department prosecutors offered Biden a plea deal on the charges, but that fell apart under a judge’s questioning that revealed a disagreement over the terms between Biden’s lawyers and the DOJ.

Biden is charged with buying a firearm while lying on the paperwork about being a drug user or addict.

Prosecutors say they will show photos and text messages from Hunter Biden himself showing him using or discussing his drug use. The trial is expected to last two to three weeks.
