By refusing to give military aid to Israel, President Biden is supporting Hamas. I’m not the only one who thinks so.
Townhall’s David Harsanyi writes, “This is a historic moment, as it is surely the first time a president has sold out a stalwart U.S. ally to save a terrorist organization.”
On Instagram, a reader commented on one of my cartoons, “Look, I don’t like Hamas, but Israel clearly isn’t a peacemaking party here either.”
Israel isn’t a peacemaking party?
Israel has constantly been under attack since it became a nation on May 14, 1948. Israel is currently fighting its 13th war.
Israel has offered land for peace numerous times but the Palestinians have rejected every one of the peace plans. Why? Because the Palestinians refuse to acknowledge Israel’s right to exist as a nation. There would be peace today if the Palestinians would stop attacking Israel.
In 2005, Israel gave Gaza to the Palestinians. And then the Palestinians elected a terrorist organization, Hamas, to run the government and since then, Hamas has started a war with Israel in 2008, 2012, 2014 and in 2023 which continues to this day. If they knew the Bible, they would know that they cannot win.
Zechariah 12:6-8 says, “On that day I will make the clans of Judah like a firepot in a woodpile, like a flaming torch among sheaves. They will consume all the surrounding peoples right and left, but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.
7 “The Lord will save the dwellings of Judah first, so that the honor of the house of David and of Jerusalem’s inhabitants may not be greater than that of Judah. 8 On that day the Lord will shield those who live in Jerusalem, so that the feeblest among them will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of the Lord going before them. 9 On that day I will set out to destroy all the nations that attack Jerusalem.”
When the prophet says “on that day” I believe he is referring to the end times after the Jews return to the land. God says He will destroy the nations that “attack Jerusalem.” If Biden turns his back on Israel, he will be on the wrong side of His-story.
Genesis 12:3 says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
God made this promise to Abraham and his descendants through Sarah — the Jews. America has been blessed for standing with Israel in the past. Biden is about to get us cursed.
