According to Reuters, American youths 6-17 with gender dysphoria have surged from 15K in 2017 to 42K in 2021. Children are not being taught, they are being indoctrinated.
Culture war update:
Louisiana passed a law requiring public schools to have a poster-sized display of the Ten Commandments in all public school K-12 and state-funded university classrooms. The ACLU filed a lawsuit.
In Oklahoma, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Ryan Walters ordered schools to teach grades 5-12 about the Bible’s influence on America’s founding. Schools will also be required to stock a Bible in every classroom. Of course the leftist lawsuits will be filed any minute.
These states are trying to undo the damage that secularism has produced in America. Just look at what happened in schools from 1940 to 1962 — the top complaints from school teachers were: students talking in class, chewing gum and running in the halls. Since 1963 to the present, school officials have dealt with rape, robbery, assault and shootings.
