THE EVIL SPIRIT OF ABORTION
One morning in 2019, my business phone woke me out of a deep sleep. Instinctively, I answered. Big mistake.
A woman on the other end asked to talk to Gary Varvel. I said, “That’s me.” Then she said, “How can you call yourself a Christian and support Trump?” Her voice was quivering and I could tell that she was either angry or nervous or both. She pressed me for an answer.
There are many reasons why I could not vote for Biden, but the first thing I said was I can’t support a party or politician who supports abortion. She accused me of caring for the unborn but not caring for them after birth. This is a popular talking point of the left. It’s a lie but it’s part of their script.
Eventually, she yelled, “How can you sleep at night?” Then she hung up on me. The truth is, I was sleeping pretty soundly until she called.
Her defense of abortion told me that she has been unwittingly deceived by the third god of the unholy trinity: The unclean spirit of Molech, the god of child sacrifice.
Since 1973, Americans have sacrificed over 62 million children to the god of Molech. Of course it’s not called child sacrifice today. No, our culture calls it “choice,” or “women’s healthcare,” instead of “abortion,” but no matter what the left calls it, the result is the same — dead babies.
In Jonathan Cahn’s book, Return Of The Gods, he writes on page 105, “Children produced by sexual acts in the temples or by Ishtar’s prostitutes on the streets provided sacrifices for the gods. So now in modern times, as the sexual revolution bore its fruit, more and more children were conceived outside of marriage and were more likely to be unwanted. Their lives would provide the modern-day sacrifices to Molech.”
The Bible says, God made us. (Psalm 139) God knew us. Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed you in your mother’s womb, I knew you.”
And God hates the shedding of innocent blood (Proverbs 6:17).
Biden and Harris want to codify abortion, right up until the moment of birth. This is infanticide and as a Christian I can’t vote for people who want to appoint judges who will continue this evil practice.
Jeremiah 32:35 says, “And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.”
God never gave it a thought to command the people to sacrifice their children. So why did they do it?
They wanted prosperity. The Greek writer, Cleitarchus wrote that the Phoenicians and Carthaginians were eager to obtain favor from the gods, so they would “vow one of their children, burning it as a sacrifice to the deity.”
Cahn writes, “Female celebrities, feminist leaders and other women of influence would publicly boast that they were able to find success in their careers because they ended the lives of their unborn children.”
Whether it’s career success or financial burden, the reasons why most women today abort their children is a compelling argument that the god of Molech has returned.
Abortion is a political sacrament to the Democrat party. But God calls child sacrifice an “abomination.”
The war within America has been waged by the evil spirits of Baal, Ishtar and Molech. The people forgot God and worshipped self, government, the environment, materialism… It was followed by Ishtar who seduced people with sexual freedom outside of marriage that resulted in bondage to sin, HIV Aids, death, broken homes, broken lives and addictions. Then came the death cult led by Molech. The gods have returned and the last state of America is worse than when Pilgrims arrived.
Jesus’ parable was right. “Then it (demon) goes and takes with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. And the final condition of that person is worse than the first. That is how it will be with this wicked generation.” (Matthew 12:45)
