DEBATE REVIEW
Tuesday night, the ABC moderators debated former President Donald Trump while Vice President Kamala Harris was free to lie unchecked. Moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis did their best to help Harris from the start when she was asked if Americans are better off today than four years ago. Harris dished up a word salad about her growing up in a middle-class family but didn’t say yes or no. Fox News reported that the moderators fact-checked Trump five times but Harris was not fact-checked a single time.
The Federalist’s John Daniel Davidson writes, “The debate was so biased it was divorced from reality. Trump should refuse to do another.”
The Federalist’s Brianna Lyman writes, “ABC News’ Muir and Davis spent 90 minutes running election interference for Kamala Harris by ambushing former President Donald Trump.”

- Project 2025 (Trump has said for months that it’s not part of his plan).
- Fracking (She denies it now, but in the 2019 Democrat primary debate she said would end fracking. – CNN).
- Late-term abortion (She denies it now but she has maintained that the timing of carrying out an abortion should be left up to a woman. – Snopes)
- Tim Walz’s late-term abortion (She denies it but “Under Gov. Tim Walz, babies born alive in botched abortions were left to die. Then he removed reporting requirements” – The Daily Signal)
- “Very fine people” Charlottesville (No, Trump did not call Neo-Nazis and White Supremacists ‘Very Fine People.’ – Snopes)
- “Bloodbath” comment (Trump was predicting an “economic bloodbath” for the country, not a literal one, if he loses the 2024 presidential election. – Snopes)
- Economy (She didn’t answer the first question, “Are people better off today than they were under the prior administration.”)
- Border security (Around 75% of violent crime arrests in midtown Manhattan are suspected illegal immigrants: Report – The Daily Wire)
- January 6 (Harris accuses Trump of inciting an insurrection, but Trump told his supporters to go peacefully and patriotically protest at the Capitol.)
