HOW TO MAKE D.O.G.E. PERMANENT

You have probably heard about the “Use It or Lose It” rule, right?  That is where government agencies spend all their remaining money at the end of the year, so they’ll keep getting at least the same amount from Congress the next year.  The fear is that if they don’t spend all the money, their budget will be reduced for the next year, hence, use it or lose it.  They spend the money on wide screen TVs, furniture, etc., but if you are paying attention, not one agency has used the money to upgrade their computer systems that are of the 1960s vintage.

Now why is that?  I’ll tell you why:  Antiquated systems can be manipulated to hide a lot of fraud, waste and abuse, that’s why.

My proposal is simple:  Part of the savings realized by Elon Musk and D.O.G.E. should be used to establish a modern and integrated computer system that ALL Federal Government agencies use, and it is a system that can be reviewed regularly by a permanent D.O.G.E. office located in the White House.  At the push of a few keystrokes, the D.O.G.E people would be able to see what’s being spent (on what and to who) all at the convenience of the D.O.G.E personnel who won’t have to leave their office unless they find something fishy.  All funds issued by the Treasury Department could be tracked to the agency and all disbursements tracked.  Not a dime of taxpayer money should ever again be granted to a Non-Government-Agency (NGO) or a Non-Profit group.  If an NGO or non-profit cannot do whatever it has tasked itself to do while operating in the private sector, there is no good reason they should receive taxpayer funds.

The discoveries made so far are shocking.  One NGO was set up to provide funds to study the menstrual cycles of trans men.  Read that again.  Trans men do not have the basement furniture to have menstrual cycles, no matter what kind of surgery they’ve had, so where did that money go, and to who?  Another NGO was set up to provide government funds to explore sex-transitioning mice!  I could go on, but most of you have seen the list.  The way the Democrats figured out how to steal our money was quite creative:  Set up an NGO or non-profit to provide whatever services they advertise, get millions or billions of our tax dollars granted to them, establish massive salaries for the instigators and provide what’s left to the chosen “cause”.

Is this a great country, or what?

If a massive integrated government computer system is installed, the ability of the Executive Branch to monitor expenditures will make it so Musk/D.O.G.E. won’t have to travel all over Washington DC or elsewhere to conduct an audit, because they can do their jobs right at their desks.

Food for thought, but only for the truly thoughtful.
