Lebanon’s prime minister has asked Iran to help broker a cease-fire in the ongoing Israel-Hezbollah war, as Israel has intensified its attacks on Hezbollah since September.
According to Lebanese media, U.S. Ambassador Lisa Johnson presented a cease-fire proposal to Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who has been representing Hezbollah in the negotiations.
