After Israel took out the political leader of Hamas inside an upscale residence of a Tehran neighborhood, the question wasn’t if Iran would strike back, but when. When initial intelligence pointed to an overwhelming response from Iran and its proxy network last week, satellite imagery showed Iran’s military moving heavy missile equipment into battle ready positions from storage. The attack seemed imminent but nothing happened. The intelligence reports seemingly shifted to an imminent attack early this week yet again, nothing happened.
Iran isn’t any less interested in launching a full-scale attack on Israel than before, but something seems to have changed. Could it be that the Iranians are postponing the attack in order to prevent mass chaos at the DNC next week and kill Kamala’s momentum?
