Israel Bombs Iran TV During Broadcast

President Trump on Monday urged “immediate evacuation” of Tehran after Iran rejected a U.S.-proposed nuclear deal.

Earlier that day, Israeli airstrikes hit Iranian state media facilities in Tehran during a live broadcast, sending debris falling into the studio as anchors fled from the set.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the attacks and refused to rule out targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader, saying such action could “end the conflict.” Tehran has reported at least 224 deaths since Friday; Israel says 24 of its citizens have been killed. The strikes follow four days of escalating missile exchanges.
