King Charles III has invited President Trump for an unprecedented second state visit to the United Kingdom, a message hand-delivered by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer on Thursday.

Trump accepted the invitation, which includes an informal visit to Scotland before planning the full state visit.

The leaders also discussed efforts to broker a peace deal in Ukraine, with Starmer urging Trump to hold Russia accountable. They also addressed a potential U.S.-UK trade deal, with Trump suggesting Britain could be exempt from upcoming tariffs.

President Trump is scheduled to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Friday to sign a critical minerals agreement.
